The second trip is the more demanding one
When a group travels with us for the second time, the bar is higher. Participants have a point of comparison, and expectations are no longer shaped by anticipation alone, but by memory. Our task was therefore not to repeat the previous year. We wanted to give the new guiding theme its own setting: a different hotel, a different rhythm and a programme that left room to work on the business without neglecting the experience.
Day 1: Arrival and paella beneath the old windmill
Arrivals were spread across the entire day, with flights from Germany and Austria carrying anything from one person to seventeen. Every arrival was welcomed personally at the airport, and the transfers followed the rhythm of the landings. Everyone reached Zoetry Mallorca relaxed, the home base for the days ahead.
In the early evening, the group came together in full for the first time. In the hotel's outdoor area, beneath the old windmill and under sunshine and blue skies, they began cooking: three paella variations prepared together, accompanied by starters and coffee. A team-building experience that hardly feels like one because it is simply fun to stand side by side around the pans, taste the food and debate whether it needs more saffron.
As the sun went down, an ice-cream van arrived. Afterwards, the outdoor area became an open-air cinema: a large screen, live broadcast, open bar and a group that clearly did not want the first evening to end.
Day 2: When things get serious
The second day was devoted to work, and it began with a scenario nobody had expected: a train crash. Participants were assigned roles as doctors, medical assistants, victims and onlookers. Professional actors and a make-up artist made sure the exercise did not feel like an exercise.
This was not about medicine. It was about the questions that arise in every company as soon as pressure builds: Who takes the lead? How does information flow when everyone is talking at once? What is decided first, and what has to wait? And how do you deal with those who watch but do not help? Divided into three parts across the day, combining practice and reflection, the scenario became a mirror for everyday working life.
After an intense day, there was time to catch a breath and talk in smaller groups. In the evening, the group headed to Assaona, the beach restaurant on the Bay of Palma that many still remembered from the year before. It was a reunion with a place and an evening by the water that showed how much can change in a year, and how much can remain the same.
Day 3: Time for yourself
The final day began with breakfast together and was deliberately left free afterwards. Those with early flights were taken to the airport; everyone else used the remaining hours for the pool, the sun or one last coffee overlooking the grounds. In the afternoon, the group travelled to the airport together, on time and without any rush.
What remains
After the trip, we received feedback we are happy to share: it had been even better than the previous time. For us, that means above all that the second journey became an experience in its own right rather than a copy of the first.
“From Excellence to Impact” is a guiding theme intended to resonate: within the team, in decisions and throughout the business. We hope that a few moments from these three days will play their part, whether beneath the old windmill, among actors and stage blood or over dinner by the sea.
Thank you for placing your trust in us again - we are already looking forward to the next chapter.
