Sustainability

For us, sustainability is more than a buzzword. It is a principle behind all our projects: resource-conscious work, identifying low- or no-impact activities and advising our clients responsibly.

We understand sustainability not only in ecological terms, but also as a social responsibility and as the ambition to give something back to the destination through our work.

Sustainable events with social impact

Sustainability: Sustainable events

Business events with social impact

Regional partners, refillable drinking bottles and a zero-waste mindset are a given for us. But sustainability does not stop there.

We see business tourism as a powerful tool for positive change in a destination and in the life of the local community.

For that reason, we research, initiate, evaluate and accompany social initiatives in the areas of children and education, turning our clients into heroes by allowing them to choose which initiative they want to support actively or passively through their event.

These social projects are tangible, and the help arrives directly and without friction: from renewing a torn sun sail in a schoolyard to replacing a playground structure in a public square or funding a full-year place at a language school for English lessons.

Social sustainability in business events

Sustainability: Social sustainability

For people

Social sustainability is part of our DNA. We want our events to be unforgettable for participants while also creating added value for people and society at the destination, especially in the areas of children and education.

This can mean, for example, that:

  • urgent repairs or purchases for local kindergartens or schools become possible
  • a scholarship for a full-year place at a language school is provided for a disadvantaged family
  • CSR activities such as a Beach CleanUp are integrated into the daily programme and create a direct, positive impact for the environment and local community
  • we prioritise partners where young offenders or people with disabilities have found a new future
  • small producers and local craft businesses are integrated into our programmes.
Environmental sustainability for events

Sustainability: Environmental sustainability

For the environment

Environmental sustainability means conserving resources, avoiding emissions wherever possible and making conscious decisions when purchasing and planning.

We prefer partners who share the same values and rely on solutions that are both practical and climate-conscious.

This includes, among other things:

  • avoiding unnecessary travel through a high share of remote work
  • building and expanding a broad CSR activities portfolio for sustainable and regenerative events without compromising quality or entertainment value
  • using regional and seasonal products in our caterings
  • reducing waste and plastic through reusable bottles that our groups receive free of charge on arrival.

Acting from conviction

Our actions do not come from marketing reasons, but from the conviction that business, ecological responsibility and social responsibility must go hand in hand.

We see it as our task to make it as easy as possible for our clients to give something back to the destination and its residents, without any compromise in quality or experience. Quite the opposite.

Together, we create experiences that do not only motivate and inspire, but leave positive traces at the location and in the people involved. And that may be what our world needs more than ever right now.
