The Mickey Mouse nursery is one of those rare places you usually only hear about in stories. It is run by people for whom childcare is not a duty, but a passion. The owner leads the nursery with heart and commitment - and pays for it from her own pocket. As a private nursery without public funding, she finances everything herself: toys, running costs, mortgage. The budget is limited, the dedication is boundless.

For the two groups with a total of 30 children, an age-appropriate climbing frame had long been missing - not because there was no will, but simply for financial reasons. This is exactly where we stepped in.

**From idea to implementation: an afternoon with impact** As a farewell gift - our son was moving from nursery to preschool - we saw the need and financed a climbing frame. Not just any structure, but one perfectly suited to the needs of the youngest children: climbing, balancing, hanging from rings, sliding - and with the matching cover it turns into a cosy tipi for quieter moments.

We assembled it ourselves - a family afternoon in which everyone lent a hand. The pictures speak for themselves: children watching curiously as their new play equipment takes shape. And at the end, beaming faces - among the little ones and among us.

**Why we do this** At X-centives, we do not just talk about social impact - we live it. And that does not always mean large, complex projects. Sometimes responsibility begins right on your own doorstep, with people who achieve extraordinary things every day but have very few resources.

The Mickey Mouse nursery is such a place. A place where children are not only looked after, but truly seen. Where people work with love and commitment because it is a calling, not just a job.

For us, the climbing frame was more than just a piece of play equipment. It was an opportunity to give something back to this work - and to give 30 children a little more movement, joy and development.

**How you can become part of our social projects too** Projects like this grow out of our ongoing research and our own local initiatives. We deliberately focus on small, local projects that we know personally and whose impact we can see directly. No anonymous donation accounts, no inflated administration - just real people, real needs and real results.
